Restorers of Works of Art
Arts Conservation International (ACI), created by Alix Laveau, specialist in the restoration of works of art, brings together independent multidisciplinary specialists working on easel paintings (canvas, wood, copper, stone…), murals and frescoes.
The services offered by ACI are varied:
- Condition assessments accompanied by photographs and, if necessary, scientific imaging and analysis, enabling comprehensive diagnoses;
- Restorations ranging from simple repairs to major interventions;
- Logistical setup (removal and reinstallation of artworks, small scaffolding, transport, etc.)
Whether for public or private institutions, gallery owners and collectors, all works of art must be treated in accordance with international ethical standards for restoration. This ensures that interventions are appropriate, using suitable materials and reversible methods.
